In the Einabus Olive Groves

Sylvia and Cynthia are given a ride up the hillside on one of the tractors that were plowing in the fields.

As the Israelis closed school, we had plenty of young Palestinian boys out in the fields.

Netanya, who has been participating in events sponsored by Rabbis for Human Rights for two years.

Benny, a retired agronomist, who regularly comes out to support Rabbis for Human Rights interventions.

Zuzi, who drives Benny from Tel Aviv, and who became critical of Israel while living in the United States.

The wife of the Palestinian landowner, who went up the hillside to plow his fields.

Settlers came out to inspect the work being done by the Palestinian farmers, who own the land below the Yitzhar settlement, which is illegally built on Palestinian land.

After the settlers complained, the army came down from their barracks.  Here the Palestinian landowners are arguing for their right to plow their land.
